When I was contacted via email by Ana, her request was to be able to relive the excitement, expectation and happiness of their original wedding in Florence celebrated 20 years earlier. Her dream was to be able to have this city again as the background for their wedding anniversary and make a “before and after” comparison in the photos.
The desire of the couple was to show the city to their daughters and make them live the magical atmosphere of Florence. Before the event, the family decided to do a photoshoot in the city centre.
The wedding ceremony and reception was held in Villa La Vedetta, on the beautiful panoramic terrace from which you can see the city centre. The bride, being of Indian origin, wore a white dress with gold ornaments that recalled her land. Even the two bridesmaids have respected this style by wearing a belt with the same details.
During the event, two violinists were present and played charming and romantic pieces giving a strong emotion to all the participants.

For the symbolic ceremony on the terrace an arch was set up with the bride’s favorite flowers: pink lilies and red roses. All the floral compositions were then characterized by these same flowers: from the bride’s bouquet to that of the bridesmaids, from the groom’s buttonhole and her father’s to the centerpiece.
The table decoration followed the red color as the main theme. Together with the bride we chose silver placemats and cutlery, red napkins and glasses of the same shade. A very intimate renewal of wedding vows, just like an elopement, which was attended only by the closest relatives: the family itself.
