Carla and José love nature, especially water. They dreamed about a civil ceremony wedding on the lake. Therefore the choice fell on Villa Castelletti, a Medici dwelling just outside Florence. The venue is surrounded by a large park with old trees, under the safeguard of the Superintendence of Historical Heritage.
The romantic lake of the estate has given a charming atmosphere to the ceremony, and the natural landscape was perfect for the photoshoot. The civil rite took place under a bespoke wooden gazebo created for the bride and groom and covered with white flowers and climbing plants.
The wedding color palette included pink, peach, blue, and yellow. These delicate nuances have characterized the floral arrangements for the ceremony, reception, bouquet, and wedding cake.
The heart of the main floor of Villa Castelletti, represented by the Giardino d’Inverno (Winter Garden), hosted the wedding reception. Inside the room, there were round tables covered with pink and ivory white tablecloths. For the mise en place, we used chandeliers, silver cutlery, and candles.

The most exciting moment of the wedding was the cake cut. We organized that moment outside the location, right in front of the main facade of the villa. The square was illuminated by many candles that created the right atmosphere for this magical moment.
For their wedding cake, Carla and José chose a fruit cake. All around, floral arrangements in small vases with the same colors chosen for other outfits.
The traditional Italian confettata, colored like the cake, was set up at the venue’s entrance with elegant floral arrangements.
